I've spent 20 years at the intersection of engineering, product, and platform. Building things that enterprise teams depend on, in environments where complexity is the default.
Most of that work was inside real companies with real constraints: platform frameworks at Sitecore, cross-product architecture at Adform (where the FLOW initiative received a Red Dot Award), and six years as Chief Product Technical Officer at CluedIn, an enterprise data and AI platform serving regulated industries at €300k+ ACV.
I started consulting because I kept seeing the same pattern: organisations with genuine AI ambition, real capability, and stalled delivery. Not because the technology was wrong. Because the decision-making, architecture, and execution were not aligned. That is the gap I work in.

Ikary
After years of helping enterprise teams ship AI, I kept running into the same structural problem. AI code generation is getting faster. But the maintenance, review, testing, and debugging that follows is not getting any easier. The generation step solves one problem and creates several others.
I created Ikary to explore a different approach: instead of generating code, generate a structured YAML manifest that describes what an application should do. A deterministic runtime then compiles that manifest into a working system. The manifest describes what to build. The runtime handles how.
Ikary Manifest is an open-source research project. It includes a declarative manifest language for business applications, a compilation engine, contract validation, and a multi-runtime renderer. It is early work, not a product. But the direction is clear: AI should generate declarations, not source code.
